WITH THE SISTER
Taken yesterday..Well well well..this lil sister of mine is growing up so fast.. =xWITH THEM
This was from my outing with Wafiy, Syaheir and Faye last week..Owh..Welcome home Faye! haha lmbat.. Anyway, we went to CheezBox, cruising around Kiulap, went to Kianggeh for Air Kelapa and finally to Empire just to use the toilet..haha..
Owh..I almost create a scene at Kianggeh where I had bad encounter with a group of 'ucir' kids.. Since I am not really a big fan of kids..the incident that night created a spark and trigger my dislike even more..THE ECONS GIRLSAround last 2 weeks, the day the econs girls *excluding nora* came over to my place to kill time before our next class started..But little that with know that our next class was cancelled..haha.. Zana brought her twister..Zana and Nana were the last two twisting..haha..

my labour presentation with Nana today was okay..Nyehh..the tutorial was taken over by a tutor..We were expecting for our lecturer to assess our presentation.. But its okay..So one presentation down, three to go...

We had family function of Doa Arwah last night..
This year we did not had it at home, breaking away from the conventional way..
We held the function at one of the restaurant in kiulap for about 120 close family members..
Well, the food was great so as the environment since we booked the whole restaurant..Less hustle jua..inda payah panyap2 rumah and inda panas..haha
My labour economics presentation is tomorrow..Nana and I decided not to discuss about it any further since we had work for it like mad last week.. Just hope, everything goes on according to plan =D

Untuk membuang kekecewaan, I texted Syaheir and asked him out..Went to SCB Bandar to enquire on the status of my debit card..Damn, dari bulan 5 smpai sekarang nda mau..U know what?? They said somehow they forgot to update my migration from old card to new card.. membagi marah bah..They said my card will be activated in 24 hours..cubatah nada!..
What else? Owh..guess where we went after that?

Been going to the library like mad just to research for tomorrow's Labour Economics presentation..
Practically only had 3 days to prepare...emm let see..1 day saja lah..since Friday and Sunday are 'suppose' to be an off day..
She said time constraint should never be a problem..well..banar pulang that we have 72hours in 3 days..more than enough time if you have no life..hahaha
Luckily, it is group of two presentation..I had Nana as my partner..I believe we tried our best and had already spend maximum time just to complete this presentation..

I had pretty much relaxing not so packed 1st and 2nd year..lots of free time...not so much written assignments...but..all of those are history now..
The unspeakable truth of being undergraduates started to kick in bit by bit.. higher expectations demanded by the lecturers..we are constantly reminded that sooner or later we are going to be part of the world of work where not all of our reservations can be solved using all those theories we learn.. 4 more semesters to graduation seems far away but I personally believe that the time will swift away just like blinking of an eye.. It is time to stop takes thing lightly..
Second upper (2-1) degree is my target..If god permits First class degree would be wonderful.. hehe of course I have to earn it lah with hardwork and so.. it will not happen miraculously..
Well.. besides, my dad kept on rubbing to my face that if he can get second upper degree classification why cant I?..In addition, he was in the first ever intake of UBD, it was quiete hard to earn a degree back then..
Serious stuff? haha.. its about time to picture what I want to become in the future bah..

It is 10.32am right now..goin to go to uni later at 12 for my Labour Economics class.. I never expect to absorb so much knowledge during the first week of the semester.. 4 out of 5 courses started this week..Damn..efficient banar..Economics tah banar.. selalu nya week 2 baru tah start.. inda apa lah..it is for our owh best interest jua bah ah..
Owh yesterday 08.08.08..nice ahh..pretty much ramai org berabut nikah or kawin yesterday..
and..yesterday also happened to be the opening of Beijing Olympics..Meliat kamu opening ceremony nya?? It was amazing!! lawa berabis..
Uh uh wait..I changed my theme =D decided to design a subtle theme this time..hehe..relax saja bah ahh..What do you think?? and basically since I reformat my laptop..all my photoshop brushes hilang yatah nda dpt berabis design nya..
I went to watch malay movie named Susuk kemarin jua.. tekajut ku pasal aku rasa movie atu siuk! very much in denial since Im not a big fan of Malay movie..the storyline siok..4/5 from me..

About the application process for braces arah govt. I think I can give you brief ideas how it goes..
Well..pasal about 8 years ago I went through the process from A to Z until the allergy thingy came up..
First, you go to the govt. dentist arah your catchment area..like berakas or sengkurung.. then tell them you are interested to undergo the braces treatment and asked them to explain to you..Sudah atu they will recommend you to the specific department..
Then you will undergo pre-pre braces treatment..month to month check up to tidy up your gigi like tambal all the holes, tukar tambal lama, scaling, ajar the correct methods of barus gigi..This pre-pre braces treatment will take up about a year or more i guess..
Then when the dentist feels that your gigi atu clean brabis like no gum bleeding and all baru tah durang forward you to the orthodontist (doctor yang buat braces).. and you will be put on waiting list candidate before you undergo the next stage of pre-braces treatment like x-rays,moulding,extraction and etc..well waiting to be call atu may take about a year or more jua..
Catu lah..so you will have to go through all the mumbo jumbo for almost 2 years or so before actually getting the braces put on you.. Harga nya $300, and evrytime jumpa bayar $1..
Biasalah orthodontist nya nda ramai, patient nya ramai.. sabar saja menanti ahh..

That particular simpang where they found the body was my daily route to uni..hahaha..boh doi.. that simpang is quite creepy plang especially at night..plus it is narrow and very much in bad condition..bumpy and very dusty..I blamed it on the big trucks yang lalu lalang sana..yang crime scene atu yatah tmpat big trucks masuk tu..im not sure what are they doing in there..mengangkut tanah kali
The first thing came up in my mind when I saw the blue police tape of no entry yesterday morning at the crime scene was..'Boh, ada kana jumpa mayat kali!'.. haha I knew it! well..this is not something that I can joke about pulang, but I always imagine myself is the one that found a dead body lying somewhere everytime I passed by creepy road..damn I misssed my chance! haha too much of CSI i guess..
Owh, Im just curious..everytime things like this happened..I wonder where is the follow up case?..like..the identity of the dead, cana ia mati, siapa tah yang membunuh..emm..maybe the information was not disclosed to the general public or maybe the case just goes cold..

So ..if you have perfect teeth or not interested to know the process of getting braces please do not continue reading..haha..
I have so much to say bah yatah I decided to make a post..kalo buat arah tagboard nda muat kali ih..
First of all..getting on braces is not as painful as other people said..It still hurts plang, haha but not like you gonna die or wat..Don't let their comment hunt you..hehe..Ani based from my own experience plang ah..Pasal I was really determine to get one and fix my tooth thats why, I don't let the pain become the ultimate fear..
Okay back to your questions..
The treatment varies according to your need..As for my self..
Since I am in adult category sudah..my gum build up sdah and since my jaw structure tekedapan..my orthodontic decided not to extract any tooth..so I have to wear 'spacers' for a week..untuk bagi space in between the molar so that masa they pasang that metal banding at the back tooth inda berapa sakit..
Cani lah..tapi atu bukan gigi ku plang..haha
I asked a friend yang pakai braces d govt. , he said he doesnt have to wear this spacers thingy..
Just in case you have to wear those..yatah process yang paling annoying and sakit lah..Macam ada piece of daging stuck in btwn your tooth..very much tempting kan d cabut..
Owh, again..since I dont have to extract tooth..They are making the space for my gigi yang besilu to move by 'grinding' my molar sikit2 each time appointment..grinding sounds painful..but it doesnt..
Im not sure how they do it di govt. but so far..I asked around..most of them have to undergo tooth extractions..and you need to get rid at least FOUR of your tooth..it could be more..if your wisdom tooth mengacau..hehe..bukan kan menakutkan..not that they cabut on the same time..satu2..So Im not sure lah how painful it could be..
Next...sdah pakai spacers/cabut gigi..baru tah pasang the braces..Yeay!..
Masa ia pasang atu..langsung inda sakit..Barely feel anything..No no, they do not give you stuff to make you painless..
30minutes lapas pakai..alum lagi rasa sakit..alum biasa saja lah sal macam tekedapan bibir atu..
2-3 hrs later..alom lagi sakit jua..masih lagi ketawa2..eat unneccessary stuff..
Sudah malam...welcome to the real world~...your gum start to kanyat2...like ngilu and leads to headache..try not to break down and treat the pain as..'the treatment is working'..kalo inda tebawai bawa makan panadol sebiji dua and bawa tidor..the ngiluness will continue paling2 3 days lah plus you may get canker sores(ulcers) since your mouth are adjusting with all the wires and etc..just rinse your mouth with saltwater from time to time and stick to soft food.. Don't starve yourself!
A week later...You can eat pretty much anything..haha except kacang2an and benda2 yang karas2 lah..jgn jua majal..Mun tesliur..makan kacang tutuk saja..haha..
What else ah??
Kalo makan, the most annoying part..the food will stuck all over your braces..so kalo makan d luar.. sentiasa lah bawa cermin and rinse lpas makan..haha
To motivate you~
Sakit atu one thing saja..it is all in your mind..hehe.. You might feel ugly sometimes, but it is a temporary state saja..Like for example, You take away 2 years of your life to do this and live the rest of your life with perfect smile =D
Be a proud braceface..Btw Gwen Stefani and Tom Cruise had their braces as an adult..

First day of uni...I only have one lecture class to attend every Monday..10-12noon class.. As expected the lecturer started teaching today! very first day..Kalo lecturer lain next week baru tah start..ani baru ia efficient..masa itu emas bah ahh.. haha
So we had Econometrics class..for your information Econometrics ani adi beradi sama Maths..an economic version of more advance level of Statistics..cara cara analyse data lah apa.. lagging sikit ku tadi masa kana explain..Maths tah lagi..owh..Maths..nda ku dpt lari daripada mu..I guess I just gotta rekindle my passion for you dear Maths..
What else??
Owh yea..As some of you notice..Yes! I had BRACES =D I had them for about a month now.. Since I had nickel allergy and the govt. dental clinics are not catering for my needs so I went to JPMC to get them.. I love it there..Their service are excellent..tapi duit atu kluar macam aing jua lah...I got titanium braces which was ordered especially for me since I was their first patient with such problem.. I guess, org yang allergic macam aku gigi durang nda mess up like mine..haha
The whole process of putting on braces took about a month..Wah...skajab kan..mun d govt. mau2 3 tahun baru tah kan belurih makai..Well, I did have to wait for 6 months before actually starting the treatment since they have to pre-ordered all the appliances just for me..
For how long?
Im not sure yet, I had non tooth extration braces process.. and so far I had my top bracket saja baru since I need to fix my overbite first.. Insya allah..dalam 2 tahun lah..and hopefully before graduation =D
How much u may ask?
Well..I shall say about 10 times more than what you're paying arah govt..
So to those who had braces arah govt..you should be grateful!! You should realise that the govt. had subsidise A LOT on your orthodontic treatment..
I had my adjustment tadi and I changed my elastic ligature from bright pink to lavender purple..nda berapa nmpak..should've choosen bright purple..haha biasalah si Syams mana pandai settle down with subtle colour.. *My purple ligatures are dedicated to Faye! balik tah lakas!*
Becerita jua lah aku ahh...haha..bah sudah tah..All in all I am a proud braceface! Nanti tah lagi ku becerita..

Hey Im back!!
New semester tomorrow!
2 weeks since my last post?? alum lama banar..haha
As usual, mixed emotions are experience having to come back to uni after long semester break.. Tomorrow shall be the start of 14 long weeks of hardwork and learning new stuff.. Then cuti lagi..hehe start uni pun alum kan mengira cuti tia lagi..
It will be my 5th semester..1st semester of my 3rd Year as university student.. I believe extra effort should be invested to compensate with anticipated distraction..e.g. Hari Raya!!

haha smua tah kan mau baru jua...macam kan baru masuk skulah saja..
